DAY 23-24

12/02/24-13/02/24

On Monday morning, I stayed home with Helen, and in the afternoon, we went to Sara's house. We spent time with her, Rebeca, and another German friend, playing video games on the Wii and also making sushi with cucumber. I had never eaten it before, and I liked it a lot. Later, Helen's mother came to pick us up, and we all had dinner together. 

On Tuesday morning, we also stayed home, but in the afternoon, we took the train and went to Munich with some friends, Pablo and Rebeca. We had forgotten that it was carnival time, and the streets of Munich were filled with people in costumes, music, and a great atmosphere. I really enjoyed seeing the carnival in Munich. 

After spending some time among the costumed crowd, we went shopping and ended up spending the entire afternoon in Munich before taking the train back home.

DAY 35

24 /02/24 Today , is the last day , or rather , the last hours here . We woke up early , packed our bags into the car, and headed to the airport . During the journey , I reflect on the wonderful experience I've had . I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent this month in Germany with amazing people like Helen and her circle . I'm deeply grateful for the warmth and kindness I've received from both family and friends , as well as the school community , but it's time to say googbye .   When   we arrived at the airport , we say goodbye to Helen's mother , check in our luggage , and wait for boarding . We board a bus that takes us from the airport to the plane, we embark , and after 2 hours , we're already in Spain . We collect our bags and take a bus to the Bus Station where we eat and wait for the last bus, Bilbao-Logroño. After a couple of hours , we arrive in Logr...

DAY 8

28/01/24 Today, after breakfast, we got ready and went to the Andechs Monastery . It was about a 45-minute walk from the house, through the mountains, and it was truly beautiful.   Along the way, I got to see nature, and the views were stunning; you could see the lake and the entire village. And, when we reached the top, before entering the monastery, we stopped at a viewpoint where we could see the landscape and the highest mountain in Germany called "Zugspitze". It was very beautiful.   Then, we went inside to see the monastery, and it was very colorful; I liked it a lot. After spending some time inside, we went to eat. In the same place, there's a restaurant, with typical food from this region of Germany. Everything was delicious. This week, I've been trying new and very tasty dishes. After eating, we walked back.

DAY 2

22/01/24  Our first day at school, we woke up at 6:20 to catch the 7:25 train that takes us from Herrsching to Gilching, the town where the school is located.  TRAIN ROUTE After two classes, Doris, the Erasmus program coordinator, introduced us to the principal. After a short conversation, we went to a classroom to ask Doris some questions about the schedules. Later, our classmates, who had been here for a few days showed us around the school and the different modules.   After the break we had our first Spanish class, it was very interesting knowing how they learn our language and the teacher also talked with us. They are learning about Andalucía.  The wake-up and bedtime hours are very different, and the mealtimes are also different. I really enjoyed the food I've had.   We also spent some time chatting before going to sleep.
